mootin left today to teach and perform at a guitar festival in alexandria, virginia. he will re-unite with zed the baltimorean while i remain here trying to convince morbidly obese, hypertensive diabetics to take walks after dinner. seven days of outpatient family medicine have passed and i concede to mixture of dullness, alarm at my lack of knowledge, gratitude for their courteousness, and disquiet regarding my upcoming degradation in other rotations. there will be many questions i cannot answer. i will be hungry. the bathrooms will be dirty. for now i am listening to john downland and thinking about tiny european cars unavailable in america:
